Do you remember your first coach? Your favorite coach? The one who helped you believe in yourself?

A great coach leaves a lasting impact.

TPLL coaches play an essential role in making Little League a rewarding and memorable experience for every player. More than anyone else, a coach shapes how a child experiences the game, not just by teaching baseball skills, but by building confidence, fostering teamwork, and creating a love of the game that can last well beyond the season.

Ready to volunteer?

You can sign up to coach when you register your child. You can also email the commissioner of the league you’d like to coach, found in the TPLL League Volunteers page.

All TPLL coaches are required to complete a simple, no-cost background check.

You won’t be alone – TPLL places great emphasis on training coaches. We run training sessions where we demonstrate different drills you can teach and discuss ways to approach coaching young children.

For more information about the time commitment for each league, visit our League Descriptions page.
